Our family is Hoa: Chinese people who made their home in Vietnam. We come from District 5 in Saigon, known as Chợ Lớn. At home, Vietnamese food was cooked the Vietnamese way and Chinese food the Chinese way. Pho is on the Vietnamese side of our table. Not fusion. Both, done right.
